star anise captures a ‘taste of Asia’ showcasing three distinctive and different styles of international cuisine that individually are popular, and together are unique. You can choose from a variety of authentic Chinese, Indian and Thai dishes made from the best freshest and quality ingredients and prepared by our expert chefs.

You can order an entree, main and side dish per person or order from our tasting menu designed for 4 or more people and share with your fellow diners enhancing the star anise dining experience. There is also a kid’s menu available with a choice of Asian rice, noodles and spring rolls and a choice of vegetarian dishes.

Complementing your meal, star anise tempts the palate with a selection of signature cocktails combining flavours such as cardamom, lemongrass, ginger, lychee and mango, as well as a range of authentic Asian beers. You can also order locally produced and Hunter Valley wines off the menu.

To finish your Asian inspired meal, choose from our assortment of homemade ice-creams and sorbets, capturing the exotic flavours of the orient. The traditional desserts not only pay homage to its Asian origins but help cleanse the palate and complete the full star anise experience.
