The Hunter Valley offers much more than just wine with a range of options for couples, groups and families to choose from to keep you entertained during your visit to the Hunter Valley. Below is a list of local activities we suggest as part of your next visit. Horse Riding

Explore the Hunter Valley on horseback. Choose to discover hidden beauties of the Valley by day or by sunset. Whether you are a beginner or experienced rider, there are a range of options available to suit all skill levels. These include trail rides for all experience levels, pony rides for children, winery rides and much more.

Balloon Flights

There is no better way to see the Hunter Valley than from above in a hot air balloon. There are a number of companies who operate everyday offering amazing views of the Hunter Valley wine regions with pilots to guide you through your tour.

There are a number of golf courses in the region, to suit all players from the novice golfer to those seeking something a little more challenging.

Wine Tours

Wine tours run everyday in the Hunter Valley. There are plenty of tours to choose from such as private tours, to horse and cart, self drive tours and helicopter tours. General tours run both half day and full day tours that commonly include chocolate and cheese tasting. Some tours will even pick you up from the hotel so you can safely enjoy a day of testing all the wines the Region has on offer.
