Eat, Drink and Be Merry at the 2013 20th Anniversary of the Lovedale Long Lunch

We invite food and wine lovers to match all the fun and indulgence of the annual Lovedale Long Lunch with a relaxing weekend in the Hunter Valley.

Held across seven wineries along Lovedale and Wilderness Roads, Lovedale – where Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley is situated – the Lovedale Long Lunch on May 18-19 is a weekend festival offering an array of local delights, including food, wine, arts and entertainment.

Our signature Redsalt Restaurant will be serving up delicious dishes at one of the seven participating wineries, the Sandalyn Wilderness Estate.

Long-lunchers can enjoy a menu of Seared Atlantic salmon with Thai noodle salad and chilli lime reduction; Char-grilled white Pyrenées lamb cutlets with ratatouille and Boulanger potatoes with caramelised balsamic onions; White and dark chocolate cheesecake with berry compote and Hunter Valley brie and a smoked cheddar cheese selection with fruit chutney and warm lavosh – all matched to wines from Sandalyn Wilderness Estate.

After the Lovedale Long Lunch winds up in the evening, guests can continue the food and wine extravaganza at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, with a choice of on-site restaurants and bars open well into the night, including the popular Vista Lounge and Grapevine Cafe-Bar
