Good country hospitality
I just wanted to Thank Patrick, one of the Managers…He did an outstanding job… I left some property in my room and only realised after check out. I phoned reception and Patrick personally took care of getting my items safely returned to my home in QLD within a couple of days. Its a great hotel but good staff make all the difference. Thank you…
Great stay, great staff, great venue
Just completed a four night stay at Crown Hunter Valley. From arrival to departure the service, friendliness and courtesy of the staff was outstanding. As a priority club platinum member who travels frequently around SE Asia and the Pacific I would have to say this was one of the best venues I have the pleasure of staying at. Our room was well appointed, very clean and extremely comfortable.
Special thanks to Luke at the golf club pro shop for helping to make my stay memorable. We will definitely be back to enjoy more relaxing time at this resort country club.
Outstanding Customer Service
We recently held our annual national sales conference at the Crowne Plaza. The feedback from our delegates has been nothing but complimentary for the venue and their staff. From any staff member on the floor to Zoe Dow in the office, nothing was ever too much trouble. All our requests and changes were met with professionalism and a quick resolution. Outstanding customer service, Crowne Plaza. We will be back again.
The entire venue surpassed our expectations
Our Travellers Choice Annual Shareholders’ Conference was held at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley 02-04 November 2012. Our initial contact was with Ben Serhan, the Crowne Meetings Sales Executive and once we established that the Crowne would be our chosen venue for our conference, were handed over to Allison Rosemond, the Crowne Meetings Director. From start to finish, we have had nothing but exemplary service from Allison and the venue staff.
Allison Rosemond was professional, friendly, efficient and extremely pleasant to deal with from the start of our conference contact through to the very end on the weekend, nothing was too much trouble. She was prompt to reply to queries, helpful when I needed that extra assistance and extremely thorough with great attention to detail for all aspects of our conference. I also wanted to pay particular thanks to the on floor staff that assisted me during the conference itself. The on floor staff, Stacey and Charlotte who looked after my needs throughout the weekend were just fabulous and a particular thanks to Barb on the concierge desk, who was extremely friendly and helpful and went that extra mile for one of our suppliers who had forgotten his bow tie and cufflinks for our Gala Dinner, though she didn’t think she did much! Kerryn the on duty reservations manager helped with a few problems and made it so much easier to deal with.
We had 160 delegates arriving at various times over the Friday, but with the majority arriving on two buses late afternoon. I have never experienced the precheck in service that the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley produced. The usual nightmare of check-in was non-existent thanks to the foresight to pre-check the group in. It was the quickest check-in I have ever seen and to go that little bit further, all of the master account staff, were separated out for me to easily hand over their room keys. There were no queues, no stress, just delegates heading for their rooms!
The entire venue surpassed our expectations, from the clean rooms, fabulous neat contemporary venue to superb food and fantastic staff. Not one staff member displayed any type of negative, bored, ‘this is too much of an effort’ show. Anyone that we asked for help (restaurant staff, reservations staff, concierge, room cleaners, everyone) smiled, helped and offered extra service.
Not one staff member looked like they hated coming to work, they were all fabulous to deal with and it is this culmination of happy, helpful staff that made our weekend run so smoothly and effectively.
All of my management team said the conference ran so smoothly and that is a testament to the staff at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.

The food, grounds, rooms and hospitality were above par and we are more than likely to return next year. It is hard to get a group of 20 all singing the same song so having everyone pleased was a great effort done by your team.
